How is this hotel 4.2 stars? The walls are paper thin (I can hear everything my neighbors say, right through the wall). The heat in my room cycles on and off every 90 seconds and it's not that cold out. The breakfast eggs might be one of the worst things I've ever put in my mouth. I found them to be flavorless mush. As bad as the breakfast is, they charge you for it or make you request a new voucher each day. If you are sensitive to detergents, be forewarned; the linens will make your eyes burn and water.
We stopped here after a Monday night Packers game. We were able to book a room about a week in advance for only $100. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the room was freezing when we arrived, the air was on cool instead of heat.
Cannot speak as a hotel guest, but I did visit Benvenuto's inside of the Holiday Inn. The inn staff were very pleasant and helpful while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive, and the lounge was clean and cozy. Complimentary snacks and drinks were available, as well as comfortable couches, plenty of reading material, and a large television.
I was there for a manufacturer training session in one of the hotel conference rooms. The food was great! The staff was very attentive and friendly. The lobby signage made it very clear where to find the conference room. The conference room was perfectly sized and equiped for the presentation. The bathrooms were clean and smelled pleasant. The halls to the conference room were well lit and well decorated. I didn't stay in a hotel room or visit any other areas of the hotel.
Our room was nice and big, we use it every year. I personally love the hot tub. Its was a great experience.
The only nice things I can say are that the shower is good, as is the internet. Needless to say, I won't be staying here again.
